Software
The school hosts several public Labs and Facilities with both Windows and Macintosh computers. All computers are kept up to date with the latest processors and operating systems, and all are connected through the school's network to school and university wide resources.
All computers in the school require a logon to the school's domain. Please see Accounts for information on getting setup with the proper accounts.

All computers in the school provide access to the following locations:
· Local TEMP Hard Drive
· CD-RW/DVD-R(W)
· Olmsted/Classes (class working folders)
· Olmsted/Projects (research and user groups)
· Imagecenter/ScanTemp (networked temporary space)
· Your UVA Home Directory
IMPORTANT: Please Log out of these computers when you leave. If you do not do this, you leave your personal data available for anyone to access.
Software for your personal computer
Through contracts with vendors, the University and the School of Architecture are able to make certain software available for free or at significantly reduced prices to students registered in its programs. For information, see Software Distribution.
