The table below lists review assignments. Each team is responsible for the timely submission of a draft report to the team they are reviewed by. Here are the ground rules:

    • Your team will be graded based on the review that it writes, not on the review that it gets, so the review is strictly to your benefit, since it may point out weaknesses that you can correct before the final evaluation.
    • A good review will do the following:

      • Recognize the organization and approach of the study, and identify and analyze the strengths and weaknesses.
      • Make concrete and practical recommendations for improvement.

    • The review should be no longer than two single-spaced pages, and should be written as a joint team effort.

At the beginning of lab, submit copies of your review and the reviewed paper both to me and to the team that wrote the paper, so you'll need two copies of both the reviewed report and the review. The lab meeting will be devoted to face-to-face meetings among the review groups to discuss the drafts and how to improve them.
